Burton Waters Marina

Burton Waters is an outstanding development with the main focal point being a picturesque marina. The marina is surrounded by water side houses and apartments and a promenade of specialist shops, pubs and restaurants.

The marina itself has a range of boats from spacious day or weekend boats, to sleek sports cruisers and sailing yachts. The marina feeds into the river Witham, and you can enjoy pictureque walks for miles down the river bank.

Three fishing lakes on-site provide the ideal opportunity for any angler. Our pictureque lakes have an abundance of fish and wildlife.

Keen golfers can take advantage of the three golf courses nearby. Carholme Golf Club, Canwick Park Golf Club and Lincoln Golf Club are all within a 10 minute drive.

Adjacent to Burton Waters Lodge complex is the David Lloyd Fitness Centre, which boasts a swimming pool and a wide range of other facilities (see opposite). There are also nature and wildlife reserves nearby.

Whisby Nature Park is an area of over 150 hectares of wetland, grassland and scrub habitat. The extensive network of paths, waymarked trails and birdwatching hides have been designed to allow visitors to see and enjoy the wildlife associated with a wide variety of habitats.

Hartsholme Country Park is situated in the southwest of Lincoln, adjacent to Swanholme Lakes Local Nature Reserve, approximately three miles from the city centre. The site comprises Victorian landscaped gardens, a large reservoir, woodlands and grasslands. Many features, both natural and built, survive from the original landscaping of the 1860s.

Adjacent to Burton Waters Lodges is the David Lloyd Fitness Centre, which offers a multitude of facilities including indoor and outdoor tennis courts, squash courts, swimming pools, gymnasium, aerobics studio, sauna and steam room. For those who enjoy a bit of pampering, a hair and beauty salon is also on site.
